Battle Spot Report #2: Two things a psychic specialist hate, and an Ice Punch sweep?

So for today, I ran into two things that mono-Psychic specialists would hate, and just swept a team using my Ice Punch Medicham. On the unrelated note, the opponents I ran into have the same hairstyle and wearing the same shirt Wizzy's wearing, plus the same eye colour.
"This shirt, you're asking?"

3rd battle- Xatu, Girafarig, Gallade vs Dusknoir, Blaziken, Kangaskhan

If you're wondering what I would hate to see on the Battle Spot, then let's just say Greninja, Mega Gengar, anything that knows Knock Off or Sucker Punch, and Mega Kangaskhan, which was not officially added to my list until this battle.

I sent out Xatu first because I have to perform a U-turn scout. Knowing that the trainer sent out Dusknoir, I U-turn-switched into Girafarig, to block a Shadow Punch or something, but the Dusknoir threw a Payback! I was thinking about a Payback Dusknoir when I started my X playthrough, considering its low Speed, but I bet it started to become a thing then. My Girafarig died to another Payback after throwing up a Shadow Ball, thankfully lowering Dusknoir's Special Defense. Yes, that Dusknoir has Leftovers.

Xatu had to survive a Shadow Sneak before it threw a Shadow Ball to kill down Dusknoir. The trainer sent out Blaziken but it simply just one-shotted by Psyshock. I had no idea why he sent out Blaziken, but I'm pretty sure that it's to Knock Off my Xatu.

He then Mega Evolved his Kangaskhan, and that thing Sucker Punched my Xatu! Sorceron then appeared to throw a Power-up Punch at Mega Kangaskhan, I did my calculations, you see. But the Kangaskhan outsped Sorceron and threw an STAB Return, plus it's a critical hit! Talking about taking advantage of the Ralts evolutionary line's prime weakness!

See what I mentioned? This is why I'm hating Kangaskhan now, but not the most hated Pokemon. It's capable of throwing Sucker Punches, twice, it's Outrage will hurt horribly, and it defies the Ghost-type (considering the fact that it has Scrappy). Why, it'll be as overpowered as Whitney's Miltank! Almost.

4th battle- Xatu, Medicham, Sigilyph vs Dragonite, Thundurus, Goodra

I've heard a lot of uses of Multiscale Dragonite, warding off Ice attacks, making Dragonite a tank and, good enough to hold a Weakness Policy, same goes to Sigilyph thanks to the Cosmic Power and Stored Power combo (Chimecho can achieve that, but that's going to take some effort).

Interestingly enough, I ran into a shiny team. The trainer sent out a shiny Dragonite, survived a Dazzling Gleam from my Xatu, the Weakness Policy activated and a Dragon Dance was performed. You know what that spells? Death from an Outrage. That happened to Xatu. And I was like "ah great, I'm going to be swept by an Outrage".

Then, Mega Medicham appeared to ease the Outrage. It Faked Out the Dragonite, cancelling the Outrage and confusing it! The trainer had no choice but switch into his shiny Thundurus, but he never realized that Medicham was going to throw an Ice Punch. And it KO'ed the Thundurus. I believed that Thundurus was in Incarnate Forme, I guess.

The trainer then sent out a shiny Goodra. You know Goodra is meant to be a Special tank, right? Then I'm sure that Goodra didn't survive an Ice Punch from a Mega Medicham. And you have guessed it, the Dragonite got hit by an Ice Punch. So, an Ice Punch sweep.

I'm starting to believe that Ice Punch is very useful for my team, considering the fact it can ultimately counter Dragons, plus that punch comes from a Mega Medicham, too. Keep an Ice attack or two on your team, as you'll be expecting that it'll be highly useful. I do find the trainer's team very interesting; he does keep a lot of shiny Flying and Dragon-types, doesn't he?

About the Pokemon I'd hate to see on Battle Spot, and the usefulness of Ice Punch, I'll explain that in detail sooner.
