Luxor 3: Royal Catch

Wow, it's look like that the fishermen had a great catch today!

Seriously, I'll tell you the scariest part: three into one, THERE ARE 3 LINES FROM THE START!!! But don't worry, the lines will take turns (notice the gates), and there is one pyramid.The first line comes out from the top-right then turn to the right and took the long track; the second line comes out from the lower top-right, which is longer and took the short track; the third lines comes from the center-right, moves a long horizontal track and turns at the leftmost part and turn. Three of them will take a short horizontal track then turn diagonally to the top-left then turn right then turn to the bottom-right and turn to the left horizontally and reaching the pyramid.

Fireballs and colour clouds should be targeted carefully when aiming at sharp curves. The speed shot can be useful when aiming at the top lines. No way the lightning bolt will help: the vertical lines are facing diagonally! The slow, stop and reverse could be useful there. The net is required since things might be weird when you are trying to get the next line stopped after you kill that bug. The sandstorm is highly recommended because it's very strong against horizontal tracks!

Luxor 3: Defender of Anubis

Now another Onslaught? This is getting ridiculous. The black has the pyramid blocker and the match highlighter. If the lines are getting too close to the pyramid, the pyramid blocker will get rid of the incoming balls for a limited amount and a bomb will explode when the defense is out. So make sure that the deadly statues aren't blocking your way!

Luxor 3: Sekhmet crosses the Nile

Another colour already? I'm waiting for a challenge.

You think four lines appearing in this level could be hard, but the strategy is easy. Use the reverse then clear out the black bug. You can also continuously using purple as the third match and use some colour bombs. It's easy, so I don't need to explain much!

Title: Guardian of Thoth
Setting: Scribblings of the Scribe
Time: 4 minutes

Survival time! Be warned that when the maximum of nine colours of each line, there will be less colour grouping (that also happens in Endless), so it's strongly recommended that you use the colour sort! Don't forget to collect the canopic jars, continuously using the colour sort (use the teal as the third last match of each line) and don't make me angry!

The bonus starts at 51 seconds.

Luxor 3: Anubis crosses the Nile

Whoa, those colours carried by that black bug aren't in order!

My suggestion is to use colour bombs of four different colours and finish the remaining colour. Another strategy is to take out the four colours between the two same colours by using wild balls, then use two wild balls to clear the line. It took about five wild balls to clear that line. Use the fireball if you want to clear the line instantly. I hope this will help you!

Luxor 3: Lotus Bloom

In Ancient Egypt, the lotus in hieroglyphs means 1000. The lotus is sacred in Ancient Egypt because it is sacred to an Ancient Egyptian god.

Okay, not enough information yet, we need to discus this map. The bugs appear from the top then move cursively then turned to another direction (notice some part cannot be seen during turning), and going to one of the pyramids indicated by the gate by going vertical then turn horizontal then turn down and do a small curve and finally reaching the pyramid by going horizontally and take a small turn.

Can be a little difficult I guess. The fireball and the colour cloud can be handy against curves. It's squiggly at the top so you need the speed shot. Since the track is short, you need the pyramid blocker. The sandstorm might be useful against the horizontal tracks and the squiggly part at the top.

Can't they use a real flower instead a lotus on the wall?

Yep, another Onslaught. The teal has the colour sort and the colour sort is the handiest among all powerups (I guess). Perhaps try use that in some Onslaught levels, although the lines are short. Handy or not, I need to test it out!

Here's come a crazy survival level! Don't bother wait for the balls to reach the bottom, use the reflectors or lightning bolts, or else you will fail completely! Collect all canopic jars to unlock a bonus!

Luxor 3: Thoth crosses the Nile

Well another colour is added and it's purple. It has the colour bomb, and it's not possible for the scorpion to appear, I mean, where is the pyramid? The bugs at the middle and the bottom will come from the right while the top come from the left. One strategy is using the reverse, then eliminating the red ball at the middle of the highest line. Then follow the order to eliminate the entire line. Another strategy is to use the red colour bomb, then use the same strategy, or continuosly getting the colour bombs (don't collect the purple one until the purple is the only colour left on the line!) You can use a fireball to finish the line instantly if you want to. Have fun!

Time: 3 minutes 20 seconds

I think this will be the hardest survival level I'll face, and this make me go crazy! Colour clouds are very handy as well as the colour sort. Don't bother wait for the lines to cross over the bridge and became longer, use the reflectors! Collect the canopic jars and don't make me faint!

The bonus round starts at 45 seconds.

It's a crook because Osiris holds a crook.

Luxor 3: Apep crosses the Nile

Wait, does the title means some kind of a monster is crossing the river?

Forget about the monster, we need to discuss the walkthrough. Use the reverse to remove some lines from the screen, then hit the yellow ball at the right. Then the top line will push back to hit the green then the blue, and finally remove the remaining balls. Another strategy is to try use the same strategy, instead, use wild balls to remove the top line (target one between the green and yellow balls, another one hitting between the blue and red balls). It took four wild balls to clear that line, or simply use a fireball (aim it right!). Hope this will help you!

Luxor 3: Defender of Osiris

Another Onslaught! It can be a little difficult, I guess. The white has the colour cloud and the colour replacer. The colour cloud is one of the handiest powerups in the Onslaughts. It can change the colours to the colour the powerup is featuring. There is a rare trick that you can destroy a chain by hitting the colour cloud. Don't forget to upgrade it!

Here's come the heart-stopping-bug-killing-fast-going-ball-reflecting survival level! We need to protect that hieroglyph! Don't waste your time to make the balls go horizontally, use the reflectors against the columns! Try use the stop! Don't forget to collect all canopic jars for a bonus level!

What kind of bug is that?!!?

While walking around the condominium, suddenly, there's a bug, a huge bug! It scared me out of wits because I'm afraid that it going to kill me!!!

What's that bug!!!

After it's captured inside a container, I decided to flee it. My parents told me that it will not kill me, I mean, it's not a bee, neither a wasp, nor a hornet. They say it's an ant. An ant? It has wings! What kind of ant has wings and it's huge???

About 4 centimeters, I guess

Maybe it's a queen ant, since queen ants are huge in size. I think it's not an ant. Can you people help me figure out what is that creature anyway?

Luxor 3: Precious Cargo

Okay, what we have a package from Cairo, maybe is for the Pharaoh. But the bugs are obstructing the load, and I think those bugs must be removed from that package!

The bugs start from the upper-right, then turn down and perform a U-turn, then go straight and turn up and U-turn and reaching the pyramid at the bottom-right.

Fireballs and colour clouds must be targeted at the right angle for best results. Speed shot might be handy when comes to the top part. The lightning bolt is very useful against columns. Slow, stop and reverse might need to use with care when it comes to columns. The scorpion might be useful, especially against columns. Sandstorm will be handy because it will take out the horizontal tracks.

Do you know that it's possible to perform an insane move? Target the ball to the farthest right and the ball will pass through the second reflector, targeting the wrong edge will cause a wrong move and the ball will reflect vertically!

Don't believe me? Here's how much you will score for this "impossible" move:

Luxor 3: Osiris crosses the Nile

New colour added to this mode: green, right? Still easy for me!

If you want to take out the top line, release the reverse, then take out the red ball at the middle, later follow the ordering to eliminate the line. You can also use a fireball if you want to.

Luxor 3: Isis crosses the Nile

River crossing again? Still three colours, but can be a little difficult sometimes.

Middle lines will come from the right while the top and bottom lines come from the left. To eliminate the black bug, you need to line the red ball in the middle, then follow the ordering and finally eliminating the yellow ball at the right. Another strategy is remove the two balls between red balls and the yellow balls. You can use a fireball to instantly destroy the line or take 4 wild balls to clear the line. Good luck!

Luxor 3: Defender of Isis

Seriously, another Onslaught?! This will get insane (of course, Onslaughts can be hard), and some tips that may let you pass. The yellow has the wild ball and the stop.  The wild ball can be good against non-same colours in between. The stop may allow you to take out the balls, or destroy the deadly balls. Hope these may help you out!

Another survival fight! It's a little hard when this map's path is fairly upstraight. Make sure to use the speed shot while targeting the upper part. Don't bother wait for the balls to reach the bottom part!

Luxor 3: Sobek's Wading Pool

Yesterday I left out the blog posts, uhm, so, sorry.

Sobek is the Ancient Egyptian crocodile god of the Nile or the rivers, or... I'm not sure, he must be a river god.

For this map, it's a little confusing. The balls came from the upper right, then go down to the waters, they cross and go under the crocodiles (note that they are doing an infinity sign), on to the lily pads, and finally hitting the pyramid.

Fireballs and colour clouds can be useful here because it's mainly curves, but must be aimed carefully. The speed shot is useful against the top part. The lightning bolt can be great against the vertical curve which led to the pyramid , so it's strongly recommended that you need to use it when the balls are too close! The slow, stop and reverse is handy in this level, probably. Just in case you need to you the colour bomb when things are out of control. You cannot identify the colour of the balls when they do into the water, so you need the match highlighter. If things are bad, use the colour sort.

The colours are only visible when they are out of the water, so it can be a little hard.

Luxor 3: Vine of Life

Hmmm... Nature, bees, flowers and vine. What nature! And bugs?!?!

I'm not meant the bees but those creepy, crawly minions summoned by Set, and the minions are going to havoc nature. Get it what I mean? The path starts from the upper-left, then perform a curve later straight to right, later perform a counter-clockwise curve and reaching the pyramid at the center right.

If you are trying to use the fireball or the colour cloud, be careful where you aim! The lightning bolt would be useful against the vertical curves, probably. If I compared the three "ball effect" powerups, the reverse could be the handiest. Just in case you might need the colour bomb or the colour replacer. Since the pyramid is out of reach, use the pyramid blocker. The sandstorm could be useful against the horizontal tracks (the long horizontal track at the center is the best).

It's a little hard that pyramids are far away from the falcon, right?

Sure, another deadly onslaught. You think Onslaught levels are hard, right? Of course, without my tips!  Red contains the fireball and the speed shot. If you break the red as the third match, the fireball may appear. The fireball not only can destroy balls in its radius, it can also destroy statues. Very handy. Don't forget to upgrade it!
